About the event
Rec Squad’s Film Camp is back! Young filmmakers will step into the exciting world of movie-making as they learn how to turn their ideas into real films. Hosted by Rec Squad at Marietta’s Theatre in the Square, campers will write scripts, operate cameras, record sound, and edit their own projects while working as part of a real film crew. With guidance from experienced filmmakers, campers will build creative skills, confidence, and teamwork while bringing their stories to life on screen. Film Camp is offered in two separate sessions, each running weekdays from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a fun, focused, and inspiring environment for the next generation of storytellers.

(Ages 12–18) This registration reserves one camper’s spot in Rec Squad’s Film Camp at Marietta’s Theatre in the Square. Campers will learn how to create their own film from start to finish, including writing scripts, operating cameras, recording sound, and editing their final project.
